Commander Shepard might be one of my all time favorite video game characters; she is one truly BA, galaxy saving, lady. Which for me naturally means I have to cosplay said character. Commander Shepard was the first armor cosplay I made, and the first cosplay that was almost 100% out of my sewing and fabric based skill set, which is to say I learned a whole heck of a lot during the construction process.
This video below is a walk-through of all the parts to my FemShep cosplay; I talk a bit about how I made each parts, and then show how it all goes together. I have separate posts documenting general resources for making foam armor, and specifically explaining how I made the chest plate.

I’m glad you posted a video of your N7 FemShep Armor. I don’t see other FemShep armor-wearing cosplayers post videos of themselves assembling the armor. A job well done. Under Resources section, Commander Shepard: Mass Effect (coming soon), but how soon? Btw, please wear the armor to NYCC 2015!
