This costume was a long process from start to finish, it felt so good to be done and also a little emotional. This dress was my ‘white whale’ of cosplay so to speak (yes I know it is a white dress), as a young teen watching Ever After I pictured myself in it, glamorous, and enigmatic, heck I imagined getting married in a dress like it (or in the dress, but then I also pictured a barefoot forest wedding so…).

Being done with the dress is like putting a dream aside, it’s finished and I feel proud of myself and an amazing sense of accomplishment for making something I didn’t think I had the skills for a a few years before. There will be other ‘white whales’, so thank you for sticking with me on this journey!
