Naturally I chose to do a weird side character from Final Fantasy 14 before any of the main characters (or my own Warrior of Light). But Fan Fest was such a good opportunity to make an interactive cosplay where the odds were a little higher that people would actually recognize the character! Often I focus on the costume side of cosplay but it was really fun to lean into the play side.
For the convention I made small little Wondrous Tails booklets to hand out to people, as well as stickers for them to put in their book. I did leave it up to honor system if they wanted to have an authentic experience of getting 0 lines or a revel in the fantasy of getting 3 lines.
